Dr Agnès Tort Piella

Agnès is the CASTLE Trial Manager working from the Clinical Trials Research Centre within The University of Liverpool. Her time is focused on managing the CASTLE study and acting as the central contact for trial communication with hospitals  and other teams. She is also in charge of liaising with Ethics and other authorities to make sure everything is in place and the trial is in good shape. Agnès has a background in preclinical research achieved through her PhD in Pharmacology at the same university. Since then, she has been working in clinical trials to promote positive change in research and patients’ health.
